A warm welcome
to Pitten
At the entrance of the charming Pitten valley, surrounded by wooded hills, the old market Pitten lies.
The Schlossberg with parish church (made baroque in 1731) is the landmark of Pitten. From the pinnacles of the churchyard wall, one can look across the Hohe Wand, the Schneeberg, the Rax, the Semmering and the Hochwechsel mountains.
Sights are the old rock church with frescos from the 11th century and the Baroque parish courtyard with its beautiful arcades, dating back to 1652.
On account of its favourable climate, Pitten is called the "Lower Austrian Meran".
Well-tended alleys, park facilities and beautiful hiking paths invite you to do contemplative walks through nature.
Fine inns with speciality dishes and good plain cooking cater for the physical well-being of our guests.
Many offers bring many satisfied guests and friends to Pitten!
