The Panoramabahn at an altitude of 1,700 meters is the gateway to Bürserberg, which is also part of the ski area. Thanks to snow-making machines a reliable snow cover can be guaranteed for most of the pistes even in mild winters. Children are introduced to skiing on the nursery slope (with T-bar lift) at the heart of the village. The Brandnertal Valley offers not only the perfect environment and infrastructure for a fabulous family vacation, but also a variety of après-ski bars, pubs and restaurants for those who appreciate a drinks or a nice dinner comprising authentic Vorarlberg specialties.
Walking and mountain biking in BrandnertalCutting-edge uphill facilities ensure effortless access to innumerable hiking trails and grant stunning views of the Brand mountains. There is walkable terrain for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and ambitions, and it is up to you whether you explore the area on your own or with a local mountain guide. Start off with a leisurely (family) walk to Alpe Rona, a lovely mountain pasture with cheese dairy (open to visitors) and restaurant. In addition, Alpe Rona is an ideal starting point for a variety of mountain bike tours. In total, the Brandnertal Valley boasts 110 kilometers of routes and trails for mountain biking.
On a hot summer’s day the Lünersee Lake and the Alvierbad swimming lake are popular among the old and young for a refreshing soak or simply for a lazy day out basking in the sun.
