One of Baumkirchen's greatest assets has always been its sunny location on a little hill above the Inntal valley. It is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and mountain tours with many picturesque view points. Sadly though, the 12 natural springs that made Baumkirchen such a popular spa in the 16th century have been destroyed by earthquakes. But the colorful meadows and forests surrounding this calm, relaxed place offer great possibilities for enjoying nature.
