Klagenfurt am Wörthersee makes a fabulous destination at any time of the year. However, summer is probably a special highlight... not least thanks to the town's picturesque lakeside location, the lovely eastern bay, the Mediterranean climate and the easy-going lifestyle. The public bathing area boasts three sunny bathing piers made of pleasantly smelling larch wood and offers stunning views of the turquoise lake, the white passenger boats and the colorful sailing boats. There are three bathing areas with access to the lake.
