Stubai glacier - the kingdom of snow
A total number of 25 funiculars and ski lifts give access to more than 100km of slopes of all levels of difficulty.
Snowboarders and skiers will appreciate the fun park with half pipe, the 10km long "Wilde Grub'n" run for ski tours that leads right down to the valley, the carving ski run and two permanently established racing tracks.
The four glacier restaurants offer great culinary delights. Especially the "Zur Goldenen Gams" restaurant is worth to pay a visit.
Besides skiing in summer, the Stubai glacier is an absolute heaven for hikers. Only some twenty minutes away from the "Jochdohle" mountain restaurant, the highest-placed restaurant of Austria, you can start your hiking tour to the "Kleine Isidor" mountain, which is more than 3000 metres high.

The slopes of the Elfer mountain in Neustift are leading down right to the village. Indeed not only skiers will find everything their heart desires. Snowboarders, tobogganists, paragliders and hikers too are enjoying the great opportunities offered by this ski area. The snowboarders do especially appreciate the terrific downhill tracks.

Flowering meadows and green woods are meeting traditional mountain huts surrounded by impressive mountain ranges. Families, hikers and people in search of relaxation come to this area in order to breathe the fresh and healthy mountain air, to gain new power and to leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Far away from crowded hiking trails there are the Neustifter Besinnungsweg and the Stubaier Höhenweg - two hiking trails leading mainly through nature reserve areas.

The Stubaital Card is available between mid May and mid October at the offices of the Stubai Tirol tourist board, at Neustift and Fulpmes, as well as at all 4 mountain railways in the Stubaital valley.
