The Vienna Old Town - from Hofburg Palace to the Bermudadreieck pub district
Imperial buildings, narrow medieval streets, shopping miles, Roman excavations - the first district is the bustling heart of Vienna. Embraced by Ringstrasse street and the Donaukanal river, it is home to Vienna's most important sights, among them St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Parliamanet, Hofburg Palace, Burgtheater and a number of popular museums.
UNESCO World Cultural Heritage
The Vienna Old Town is the last remaining 19th-century metropolis in Europe.
St. Stephen's Cathedral, Ringstrasse and the Hofburg Palace are therefore no less popular than the Pyramids of Gizeh, the Chinese Wall and Taj Mahal.
