Nordic skiing fans can choose from a huge cross-country skiing network and cleared winter walking trails leading to the region's most secluded spots. A perfect way to explore Tirol's authentic nature landscapes! Fun-filled toboggan adventures on the 2 km long natural track or romantic horse carriage rides promise loads of unforgettable moments. And after an exciting day in the snow, rest and relaxation are on the program: visit the Panorama Badewelt swimming center with sauna and wellness parlor.

On endless 200 kilometers of walking paths or hiking trails and some 26 signposted mountain bike routes you can explore Tirol's fantastic mountain summer: mighty summits, lush green meadows, glittering Alpine lakes! St. Johann in Tirol (670m) occupies a beautiful location in the Leukental, a scenic valley extending from Jochberg to near the Bavarian border. With 8,300 inhabitants and 4,500 guest beds, St. Johann is the region´s economic and tourist center.

In the winter St. Johann offers 17 modern ski lifts and 60 kilometers of immaculate slopes on the more protected, snowy northern side of the Kitzbüheler Horn. Thanks to its friendly atmosphere, extensive skiing and great leisure facilities, St. Johann in Tirol attracts a loyal following of winter sport enthusiasts and nature lovers every year.
St. Johann in Tirol is situated in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alpen between Kitzbüheler Horn and Wilder Kaiser! In the summer, St. Johann in Tirol primarily scores points with its excellent infrastructure which further upgrades and supports this top regional location for cyclists, mountain bikers and walkers. The ‘Panorama Badewelt’ attracts visitors with a particularly pleasant array of bathing facilities that include a large sauna and wellness area as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts. With excellently maintained cross country skiing tracks (St. Johann in Tirol is the starting point and final destination of the largest cross country skiing race in Austria), winter walking tracks, a toboggan run, an ice skating rink and numerous other amenities, St. Johann in Tirol is a popular venue for winter sports enthusiasts as well as for lovers of nature.
