S T R A S S is situated at the entrance of the Zillertal valley between Innsbruck, Kufstein and Achensee. Unlike the majority of busy tourist centers, it is a small village offering perfect peace and recreation.
In SUMMER Strass offers numerous dance events, celebrations, folklore evenings and outdoor brass concerts.
For your leisure entertainment we also offer a night club, coach tours, guided hiking tours, cycling trails, 30km of marked hiking trails, bicycle rental shop, playground, sports grounds in Astholz, tandem flights, tennis courts, swimming pools and bathing lakes.
A tour with the steam train (Zillertalbahn) from Strass to Mayrhofen or with the rack railway from Jenbach to Lake Achensee or an excursion with the steam boat at Lake Achensee.
In summer you can be a train driver on the hobby train from Zell to Mayrhofen.
Strass is surrounded by many ski areas (Zillertal, Achensee, Alpbachtal), so you can choose a different destination every day. A free shuttle bus operates between Strass and the ski areas Spieljoch, Hochfügen-Hochzillertal.
Walk through the winter wonderland, go ice skating or learn to ski (nursery slope) - it's all possible in Strass. And it takes just a few minutes to get to the cultural sites of the Inn Valley.
