Welcome to Westendorf - the charming home of winter!

Westendorf nestles on a lovely plateau at an altitude of 800 m above sea level, far from major traffic routes. The stunning mountains (up to 2,400 m) and beautiful Windau Valley offer innumerable walking and mountain bike routes and many places to relax and unwind. In addition, Westendorf is home to shops, cafes, restaurants with outdoor dining areas, and walking trails.

During the summer the town center is being turned into a car-free zone every Thursday: There are demonstrations of ancient crafts and trades, food stalls, live music (July to September, in the afternoon and in the evening).

Westendorf is located in the heart of Austria's largest ski area.

Westendorf is nestled on a sunny plateau and offers a great combination of bucolic beauty and modern infrastructure.
It offers the best of both worlds: the calm and the friendly hospitality of traditional inns, and action and fun-packed skiing, aprés ski, great events and a pulsating nightlife.

Westendorf is part of the Wilder Kaiser Ski World: Austria's largest interconnected ski area. 279 km of pistes, 210 km covered by snow-making facilities... in short: ski fun from December to April.
