The new trail was officially opened and consecrated by Father Heinz Kleinlechner on October 5, 2008. The trail's name "Dien-Mut-Weg" comes from Old High German and means "Courage to Serve" and was chosen in remembrance of Saint Notburga, the patroness of servants and peasants.
The beautiful trail offers superb views and has little elevation change, making it ideal for seniors and families with young children. In addition there are several benches along the way offering a nice opportunity to rest and observe nature.
