Lake Weissensee - made for rest and relaxation

The westernmost lake in Carinthia, far off busy traffic routes, is a secret tip for all lovers of nature. Lake Weissensee with an overall length of 12 km boasts grade-A drinking water, and most of its shores have been left in their original state. Water temperatures climb up to 24 °C in summer. Lake Weissensee and its surroundings - a treasured, natural gem that truly deserves the EU Tourism and Environment Award it has received.
