An interesting, beautiful climbing route with an impressive passage through Felsenhöhle ("the rocky cave"). It leads through the North-East face of Rotwandlspitze. Impressive views of Hüttenturm and Lamsenspitze. Especially useful if in conjunction with a climb up to the Karwendel peak.

How to get there:
Turn right shortly before the Lamsenjoch hut and follow the signs towards the Lamsenspitze peak. At the crossroads follow the signs towards the Brudertunnel and ascend across the scree to the beginning of the face.
Walking time: from Lamsenhütte (30 min) and from Gramei Alm (1.5 hrs)
Return to Lamsscharte in the west and walk to the peak or walk down to the hut, along the east face or the Lamsenspitze and past Lamsenkar. Walking time: about 1 hour
