Brunnentunnel Climbing Route - Austria

Brudertunnel was one of the first rock climbing areas in Tirol. Five years ago, it was redesigned and connected to Lamsenspitze at (2,508 m).

An interesting, beautiful climbing route with an impressive passage through Felsenhöhle ("the rocky cave"). It leads through the North-East face of Rotwandlspitze. Impressive views of Hüttenturm and Lamsenspitze. Especially useful if in conjunction with a climb up the Karwendel peak.

Duration: 1 hour

How to get there:
Turn right shortly before the Lamsenjoch hut and follow the signs towards the Lamsenspitze peak. At the crossroads follow the signs towards the Brudertunnel and ascend across the scree to the beginning of the face.
Walking time: 30 min.

Way back:
Return to Lamsscharte in the west and walk to the peak or walk down to the hut, along the east face or the Lamsenspitze and past Lamsenkar. Walking time: about 1 hour

Lamsenjochhütte is the last place where you can stop and get something to eat. From Gramai it takes you about 2 hours on the well maintained hiking trail to get to Lamsenjochhütte.
