In the ancient spas, the tepidarium was installed as a luke warm room in between cold and hot baths. In our modern spa world, the regeneration bath with its cosy warmth is a certain ingredient of healthy relaxation.

The room temperature of 37° - 39° degrees provides for a whole number of single health effects. Especially worth mentioning is the smooth reinvigoration of the immune system.
The indoor pool (about 27°) with whirls, a counter current installation and a splash shower offers relaxation from 7.00 a.m. till 10.00 p.m. for young and old.
Take in the peaceful breaks in comfortable couches and relax.

Finnish Sauna

Feel the cosy warmth and enjoy our sauna.

After spending a couple of minutes in the sauna, even the most stressful day will be left behind. Relax, unwind and recover new forces. A sauna bath will take care of a renewed, natural balance of body and soul. And apart from sweating, chatting and bathing, you can enhance your physical fitness: Sauna bathing reinvigorates the immune system and cares for your skin.

Eucalyptus steam bath

Let go of everyday life and feel the relaxation.

A steam bath is above all beneficial for your health. It is a sweating bath, similar to the sauna, but with an entirely different climate. Not that hot, instead a lot more humid. The lower temperatures ranging between 43° and 46°C and the relative humidity of the air are ideal to relax. Your skin will thank you, too: a steam bath boosts the blood circulation and smoothes and cleanses your skin.

The modern fitness room is equipped with the newest cardio and fitness devices, as well as dumb-bells and barbells with bench and gymnastic mats.

In our fitness room you cannot just run or ride a bike for kilometres, but you can also train your muscles on the strength training equipment.

Through the big panorama window you can enjoy the nice view of the impressive Schneeberg massif during your training.

The use of the fitness room is at your own risk and not permitted for children and adolescents (up to the age of 16).

Offers such as spine gymnastics, Qi Gong and Nordic Walking in small groups invite you to experience fitness in a new way.

Tennis
Three outdoor and two indoor tennis courts make it possible to play tennis whenever you want, no matter which time of the year or weather. Beginners have the possibility to get to know this fascinating sport. On request, our trainer can also teach you the basic swings. Tennis rackets and balls can be rented at the reception.

Active programme around the Schneeberghof

Running
You can start running directly from the hotel door - on ideally surveyed and signposted running ways.
Numerous nice experiences in the nature around the Puchberg mountain are guaranteed.
All the routes are chosen in such a way that too big differences in altitude are omitted.

Mountain bike
Explore the landscape around the Puchberg and the Schneeberg mountain on a mountain bike. Challenging mountain bike routes or the comfortable bicycle paths around the Puchberger 'Talkessel' are the ideal choice for such an adventure. You are also welcome to use our big offer of hired bikes (mountain bikes by Kelly's). If you plan to make a stop during your tour, we can prepare a picknick in a rucksack for you.

Hiking
Hiking - the king's way to fitness. Motion is life and especially hiking is a very healthy sort of sport. Just like a delightful mixture of fitness, relaxation, natural experiences and companionship. If you prefer something faster, you can try the Nordic Walking sticks.
