5-Star Cross-Country Skiing

With 200 kilometers of superb cross-country ski tracks, cross-country skiers are truly spoilt for choice in the Achensee region!

skip The tracks are groomed for skating, classic skiing and Nordic cruising which is a combination of Nordic walking and cross-country skiing.

There are even special cross-country ski tracks where dogs are allowed! And if the weather doesn't play along it's no problem either: many of the tracks can be covered in artificial snow.

Winter Hiking & Biking

Snowshoe hikers can explore the magic beauty of the winter wonderland off the beaten paths.

skip With their pristine natural beauty and peaceful landscapes, the Karwendel valleys are ideal for Nordic walking.

Or how about snowbiking? Snowbike is quick to learn, has a high fun potential and just about everybody can do it.

Are you more the romantic type? Then grab a blanket and that special someone on go on a horse-drawn carriage ride through the glittering winter landscape. Another great activity is night sledding along a torchlit track.
