Gosau Snow Spectacle (14th to 16th January 2011)

Sports fanatics, party animals, musicians ...... visitors as well as locals will once more flood into Gosau for a weekend of fun!

skip There is something here for everyone! Enjoy the winter sun and some wonderful, traditional music. There are helicopter rides and, for ski enthusiasts, the opportunity to try out 1000s of pairs of Intersport Höller carving skis.
There are many other attractions including moto-cross racing, the para-ski European championships with lots of parachute jumps into the spectator area, events for children and much more!

This 2 day event begins on the Friday evening with the annual "Hot Air Ballooning Night" and a magnificent fire works display.

skip The fun begins once more on 14th January 2011! Around 25 hot air ballooning teams will take to the night skies, producing a magnificent, unforgettable display of colour and light. The Hornspitz car park in Mittertal is the meeting point, and there will be a running commentary from the Radio Oeberoesterreich (local radio) stage.

The fun continues into the small hours in the marquee with music from the local radio station!
