Kollerschlag is conveniently located in immediate vicinity to the Bavarian border, 55 km from Linz and 40 km from Passau. The cozy little town and its beautiful surroundings feature a main road (B38), three federal roads and 20 km of well-maintained, local roads.
KOLLERSCHLAG is embedded in the scenic Passau woodlands, located right between the Ameisberg high plateau (940 m) and the Schifflerberg mountain (751 m). The region´s highest elevation is the Hochstein peak (840 m) in Stratberg, its lowest point is in the area of the Osterbach river (574 m; flowing into the Ranna river) in the West. 32% of the region are covered with trees.
