Booking book package
Hohenau an der March is located in the eastern Weinviertel region, at the mouth of the river March and Thaya, at the border triangle of Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Untouched woods rich in deer, a reserve for rare fauna and flora - the forest floodplains.

As a neighbouring village to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hohenau an der March is an ideal starting point for excursions into these neighbouring states. Hohenau itself offers its guests an extensive offer of possibilities to actively design their leisure time with interesting visits.

Hohenau is easily accessible by train as well as by car: The main roads B48 and B49, the E7 and the LH 30 lead to us.

The northern railway stops here at the border station. Therefore, many international trains stop here, for which the station Hohenau offers the possibility to get on and off. These are the Chopin (Vienna - Warsaw), the Smetana (Vienna - Prague), the Vindobona (Vienna - Berlin), the Sobieski (Vienna - Warsaw) and the Antonin Dvorak (Vienna - Prague).

As a conjunction of many cycling routes (Bernstein, March-Panorama, Kamp-Thaya-March), Hohenau is furthermore easily accessible by bike.
