The Brandnertal Valley features around 150 km of well-groomed and clearly signposted winter hiking paths where you can explore the stunning landscape by foot or with snow shoes. The paths are constantly expanded and they range from paths in the valley (500m) to paths high up the mountains (2,000m), which you can easily reach by lift. You can walk between one and several hours according to your fitness.
New folder about winter hiking paths
The most beautiful winter hiking paths are described in the new winter hiking paths folder which contains detailled information. The folder furthermore contains info about cross-country skiing trails, snowshoeing and tobogganing. The folder is available for free at the Alpenregion Bludenz office and the other tourist offices.
Snowshoe hiking is becoming more and more popular in the Bludenz Alpine Region.
It's a great feeling to walk along sign-posted paths with huge snowshoes. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountain world. The consistend walking will improve your stamina. Nearly all valleys and villages offer guided snowshoe hikes and you can rent snowshoes and poles. From a simple circuit hike to demanding alpine tours - you can try it all.
