Herb Hikes and Schnitzel:
enjoy fun-filled summer days!
In Klaffer am Hochficht everything revolves around herbs! Herb and nature lovers, teachers and their students are welcome to explore Austria’s largest Medical Herb Garden on guided tours which start at 9 a.m. Your guide Traudi is passionate about plants and herbs and will tell you all kinds of interesting facts on medicinal plants. At 10 a.m. Waltraud will take you on a hike to Hochficht. Waltraud, who is a very knowledgeable nature guide, will show you the Bohemian Forest’s most beautiful spots and point out the region’s special flora and fauna. Waltraud will also help you pick the right herbs need to prepare the tasty “Bohemian Forest Schnitzel”. At the end of the hike you are rewarded with a yummy lunch.
Cost: from Euro 9pp; children up to 12 years Euro 7. The price includes a photo souvenir of your day.
