Ulrichsberg inthe Bohemian Forest Holiday Region
A beautiful place to wind down at the foot of the Bohemian Forest!
Enjoy the cold season in Ulrichsberg!
The town is located in close proximity to Hochficht ski area (approx. 8km) and the Nordic ski center in Ulrichsberg-Schöneben (5km).
Hochficht ski area is located around 1000 meters above sea level and offers great value-for-money skiing for families and novice skiers. A free ski bus operates between the center of Ulrichsberg and Hochficht.
Great Nordic skiing is found in Grünwald-Oberhaag (3 kilometers away) where Olympic gold medalist Christian Hoffmann used to ski. Grünwald-Oberhaag gives access to the region’s most beautiful forest tracks. Some 60 kilometers of superbly maintained skating and classic tracks await you here.
After a great day in the outdoors you can take break in the swimming pools, enjoy a soothing sauna bath or treat yourself to a relaxing massage.
Ulrichsberg has plenty to see and do on not-so-great-weather days. Visit the Culture House with its excellent glass collection and memorial rooms commemorating the exiles from Oberplan and Glöckelberg (CZ).
