Top secret...

Did you now,...

... that the Eichberger and Ahrenberger cellar lanes together form the longest cellar lane of Lower Austria?

They are situated directly at the Franz-Schubert cycling path and at the Lower Austrian wine street Traisental valley. All the year round a different Heurigen opens its doors for you and is happy to spoil you with its best wines from the Traisental valley and traditional delicacies!

Tip...

You can combine a visit to one of the Heurigens with a nice walk or a small hike to the observation tower "corkscrew", which was constructed in June 2006 and is a very popular destination of the region!

Viticulture museum

A visit to the viticulture museum of family Zwick is really worth while!

Family Zwick shows the tradition around wine in the Ahrenberger cellar lane (situated between Sitzenberg-Reidling and Traismauer). You can look at old equipment, pictures, special tools and instruments and a lot more.

Opening time:

May 1 to August 31 (not open on Sundays)
from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m.

The museum is situated directly at the Franz-Schubert cycling path and can easily and quickly be reached from the Danube cycling path Passau - Vienna (distance: 5 km).

Observe, take a rest, eat and drink something, ... definitely a worthwhile visit!
