Since January 1, 2009 a basic ban on smoking in gastronomic business (with some exceptions) is effective.

According to the Federal Ministry of health, family and youth, the ban on smoking is valid for hotel rooms, as well as toilets, staircases, corridors, etc., as these are all classified as "public places"!

In our hotel the establishment of a smoking area in rooms where food and drinks are served would have just been possible with major investments.

The tobacco law is connected with considerable sanctions, which are imposed on the owners of the gastronomic businesses when violating the laws protecting non-smokers.

Thus, we have decided on a general ban on smoking in our hotel, which has come into effect since January 1, 2009.
