OETZ-HOCHOETZ

This village is THE classic winter sports destination in the Ötztal valley. However, it is much more familiar than the other regions in the posterior part of the Ötztal valley. The Hochoetz ski area (2,200m) is easily accessible from the village itself by means of the new 8 person Acherkogl lift or the 4 person Ochsengarten gondola .

There is unlimited ski and snowboard fun to be had here! There are almost no queues, and the infrastructure is perfect thanks to the modern lifts: two cable cars, three chair lifts, five t-bar lifts, and a "magic carpet" lift for kids connect the pistes perfectly. And to relax, there are numerous rustic huts, in which you can enjoy excellent traditional meals.

Thanks to modern snow-making facilities, snow is guaranteed from early winter until mid-April in Oetz. On the glaciers in Sölden, you can ski from early autumn until late spring.
