Anton Bruckner, the Bruckner memorial, and Bruckner concerts at the Augustinian Canons Monastery
Visit St. Florian and enjoy a summer full of wonderful concerts! Highlights include the St. Florian BRUCKNER DAYS (17- 23 Aug); Klangschloss Tillysburg (17-31 Oct) and the St. Florian Organ Days (7 Sep-19 Oct).
Worthwhile attractions include the pilgrimage basilica and Schloss Hohenbrunn with its hunting museum and exhibition on porcelain decorated with hunting scenes.
Sumerauerhof is an open-air museum where you can see a wonderful collection of rural furniture as well as farming tools and machines. A special exhibition titled “Jewelry – OLD and NEW” runs from April to October.
The historic fire brigade arsenal – located in the monastery’s former agricultural building – shows exhibits from the baroque period to today.
"90 Years Upper Austria" is the title of an exhibition at Stift St. Florian which presents a selection of picture-postcards. The show runs from 19 July to 5 October, Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am to 12:30 noon and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

BRUCKNER ORGAN
The parish church´s most precious possession is the world-famous Bruckner Organ featuring 4 manuals, 103 registers and 7389 organ pipes. The organ was fully renovated between 1930 and 1032 and named after the Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) who started his musical career as a singer in St. Florian's boy´s choir.
