Located in the "Unterer Inn" Nature Reserve and on the Austrian-Bavarian border.

Sights
Church with Lady Altar
Katzenberg Castle with Prayer Book Exhibition
Kirchdorf has been a pilgrimage site since the 16th century. Worthwhile sights include the baroque high altar depicting the Assumption of the Blessed Lady into Heaven, and the tombs of the Earls of Katzenberg.
Another interesting place to visit is the Prayer Book Exhibition at Schloss Katzberg (by prior arrangement only).
There is an observation platform on the Inn cycleway which is popular with nature lovers and bird watchers as many different species can be seen.
