Durlassboden reservoir can be accessed for free and offers a fantastic view of the Zillertal Alps. This lake is especially popular among yachtsmen and surfers. Only a few minutes from the dam at the left side of the lake is a beautiful sunbathing lawn with children playground and BBQ facilities. Here are also the highest-lying surfing and yachting school, a boat rental and the homey Seestüberl restaurant. Enjoy a fantastic vision range of up to 15-20m in the crystal-clear glacier water in fall time. That’s why Durlassboden reservoir is popular amongst divers. Despite the lake’s altitude (1,400m) water temperatures reach a pleasant 21°C in summer time!
