In the very south of Carinthia, at the backdrop of the jagged rocks of Mittagskogel Mountain, the turquoise water of Faaker See is shining. With a surface of 2.2km² Faaker See Lake is up to 30m deep. Thanks to an elevation in the lake a small, wood-covered and inhabited island with an idyllic hotel is in the lake.
The beautiful shores of Faaker See Lake are not only perfect for sunbathing and bathing, but also surfing, yachting and pedal boat riding can be pursued. Volleyball courts near the shore induce a classic summer feeling.
