The Seewaldsee mountain lake is idyllically located in the village of Fontanella in the Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve at an altitude of 1,100 above sea level. It is accessible by a one-hour walk from the car park next to the road leading to Faschina or with a little leisure train. As only little water is flowing into the lake, it distinguishes itself through extraordinarily high water temperatures despite being located in the mountains.
