The St. Pölten Lake Experience

The Traisen, Ratzensdorfer Lake, and the two wonderful Viehofner Lakes are the outdoor paradise of the region. The East side of the large lake is suitable for swimming and surfing. Boats are available for rent. The running, walking, and cycling tracks around the lake are very popular. There is also a viewing platform which provides great views of the Alps. The small Viehofner Lake is a protected area with a fantastic chill-out area.
