Gerasdorf, situated at the edge of the Marchfeld and the Weinviertel areas, is the ideal starting point for all kinds of holiday trips. Come and visit the Marchfeld castles, the Therme Laa thermal bath or the Heldenberg mountain.
Or enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere in the neighbouring city of Vienna which can easily be reached by public transport. Visit the Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens, the St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom), the Kärntnerstraße pedestrian precinct, the Spanish Riding School, the Danube Tower with its revolving restaurant or take a traditional Viennese Fiaker ride.

Stammersdorf or Hagenbrunn, two "Heurigen" wine villages, can easily be reached on the Marchfeldkanal trail by bicycle. This cycling trail is also linked with the Vienna-Pasau Danube trail and the Euro Velo 9 trail which leads you through the whole Weinviertel area.

There is a wide range of sports and leisure facilities at the Trenkerhof farm: bathing lake, tennis, riding, cycling, golfing, hiking trip to the Schneeberg, Rax or Semmering mountains, the Neusiedlersee lake or the Mörbisch Lake Festival and the Open Air Opera Festival of Gars am Kamp.
