Tabaluga at the Grüner hotel

Tabaluga is paying a visit to the whole Ötztal valley. He is getting to know new people and meeting with daily adventures.

Children, who are spending their holidays at the Alpengasthof Grüner in July and August, are going to be surprised by an attractive Tabaluga children's program. Together we are following the traces of Tabaluga through the forest, searching for his cave, having some grilled meat and sausages, getting to know the real life on a mountain hut and paying a visit to Ötzi in his village.

In hay baths, you are wrapped neck to toe in a special blend of fermenting hay, clover, arnica and mountain flowers; the natural healing properties of specially prepared hay are released to purify, detoxify and stimulate.

A beer brewed like in olden times!

You´ve always wanted to taste a beer like it was brewed in olden times?

You can taste one in the Alpengasthof Grüner guesthouse. Since winter 1999 we brew our own beer. And of course we take utmost care of our beer´s quality. The Grüner alpine beer is natural, unfiltered and cloudy - that´s why it goes down well. The beer is hearty and spicy and has a full body. The ideal beer for an evening in the mountains!

A home-distilled drink made according to an old family recipe

Our home-distilled drink goes well with traditional cooking!

The Grüner drink contains 36% alcohol. It is a first-rate brandy tasting of apricot. Have a few drinks. We cannot reveal our recipe though, it is a well-guarded family secret.

Be it summer or winter, the Ötztal valley always has ist charms! It is a haven for hikers, climbers and skiers.
Directly in front of our house the Sölden ski area starts. If you need help skiing a ski school with private skiing instructor is right beside our house.
