Only a few kilometers away winter sports enthusiasts will find a wide variety of ski runs for all ages and abilities. Snow is almost guaranteed, as is outstanding skiing on endless slopes, powder snow and snowboard parks. Quaint lodges, pubs and mountain restaurants, and sunbathing terraces add to a unique winter holiday. The local ski school offers lessons for both adults and kids.

Skiing is not the only outdoor activity ...
Toboggan adventures are great fun for the whole family. Further highlights include ice curling and ice skating on the frozen surface of Lake Aichwaldsee. What's more, lovely Rosental Valley offers a myriad of cross-country skiing tracks, snowshoe routes, cleared winter walking trails taking you through the sparkling winter wonderland, and romantic rides in a horse-drawn sleigh. Or how about a snowball fight?
