This popular ski area is particularly suited for families with kids, beginners and comeback skiers thanks to its perfectly prepared and clearly signposted slopes. On the Feuerkogel, the skiers can indulge in the idyllic winter wonderland as well as in the stunning panorama reaching from the Upper Austrian central area around Linz to the Dachsteingebirge mountain range.
In total, the Feuerkogel ski area boasts 1 cable car and 6 mountain railways as well as a series of slopes, ranging from easy to intermediate. A special challenge for experienced skiers and snowboarders is the 6-km and ungroomed ski route leading down to the valley.

Gently, the gondola is going up to the Feuerkogel ski area. The village of Ebensee and the deep-blue lake Traunsee are becoming more and more remote.
Up on the Feuerkogel plateau, the skiers find an extraordinarily family-friendly ski area - in the heart of Upper Austria. We recommend spending the ski holiday in one of the many alpine huts up there. In the Kinderland, the kids are in good hands. Here, they learn to do their first curves in the snow while their parents indulge in skiing and enjoyi the breathtaking view of the winter mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut region.
