Lake Achensee

Buchau Lakeside Beach is located at the southern shore of Achensee Lake in Maurach and offers a well-groomed sunbathing lawn, a rowing and pedal boat rental, a plank, an adventure playground, changing cubicles and parking spaces. The beach is especially popular with families as the water in the shallow area of the southern shores reaches a temperature of up to 22°C in summer. At the Seecafé restaurant one can also rent deckchairs.
