Situated directly next to Spittal an der Drau the ski area Goldeck has become a hot tip for among skiers. More than 20 km of diverse ski runs catering for all skill levesl can be found there.
However next to "classic" skiing the ski area Goldeck surprises with many innovations and ideas. There's for example a freeride area for the daredevils among the skiers and boarders and exciting events like the Champ or Cram on the longest black piste (8.5 km) or the XWeek take place here. And Goldeck offers Austria's only winter paragliding school.
