Schellenberg in the Fürstentum Liechtenstein is situated on the border to Switzerland, in an ideal location for going on hiking or cycling tours.
Worthwhile sights are the ruins of the upper and lower Schellenberg Castle and the "Biedermann-Haus", which nowadays houses a museum of farmer's dwellings. Furthermore, there is also the Russian war memorial built in memory of the happenings in the border municipality Schellenberg, where in the night from the 2nd to the 3rd May 1945 Russian soldiers, who had been fighting in the German army, passed the frontier under General Major Graf.
