The Ratzehof, a former abattoir, hosts changing exhibitions. In the museum's garden you will find large scale sculptures by Luginbühl, Ramseyer, Angéloz, Wiggli and Niki de Saint Phalle.

It was built from 1581 to 1584 by architect Jean Fumal in French Rennaissance style. In 1922 it was turned into a museum and hosts a collection of archaeological finds dating from the stone age to early medieval times.
In addition, it also owns a large collection of sculptures and paintings from the 11th to the 18th century, featuring artists like Geiler, Gieng, Roditzer, Fries, Boden, Ziegler, Wuilleret, Locher and Curty.
