The bathing and wellness hotel Salina Maris, only spa in the Wallis Alps, is situated on a sunny terrace in the midst of the wonderful hiking area and nature reserve Aletsch. The comfortable, newly renovated hotel with its large and light rooms and the beautifully constructed bathing and wellness area allows effective bathing cures as well as relaxing wellness, hiking and mountain holidays.
The agreeable altitude of 900 m allows holiday fun without sleeping problems. The special bio-climate with 300 sunny days stimulates body and soul and leads you back to a well-balanced life. A varied choice of guided hikes, guest trips, sports facilities and various courses all through the year completes the joyfull picture of the hotel.
The hotel is personally run by the owner family Dres.F. + M. Schmid-Naef. Cure doctor Dr. med. B. Imesch (specialized on rheumatism). Dr. med. P. Heinzen (Brig) is responsible for homoeopathy.
The bathing hotel Salina Maris is situated above Mörel in a quiet southern exposure, 7 km from Brig (from there direct connection to Berne, Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Milan).
