The district covers an area 11 km long and 7 km wide with a beautiful view of our Sarentine Alps and the Dolomites opposite.
The heart of the village is very old and boasts magnificent guesthouses, neat farmhouses, impressive residences and also a Gothic church and a Renaissance castle dating from 1577 and surrounded by battlements.
