Malcesine

Malcesine is located on the Eastern shore of lake Garda.

The origins of Malcesine date back to 500 B.C. when the Etruscans first settled down in the area.

The fauna and flora are unique and characterised by the fact that Malcesine lies between the Alps and the Padan plain. Its location and the mild climate are the reasons for cypresses, oleanders, lemon trees and olive trees growing here. The olive oil produced in this region is very valuable.
