The market town of Mals/Malles with its numerous towers

has (already) urban characteristics. The small villages are embedded in vast fields and now and then the church clock strikes to tell us what time it is. The side valleys with its lush meadows and rustling streams as well as the pretty hamlets in the midst of rough nature, where life always has been hard, are especially fascinating.
