The Ritten mountain is: friendly, sunny, unique, a hiking paradise with a network of paths and trails exceeding 350 km, 360 degrees panorama.
In medieval times princes, king and emperors, merchants and pilgrims crossed the Ritten. Tourism on the Ritten experienced a boom when the Ritten railway began service in 1907. The high plateau of rolling hills became a favourite "pleasant mountain resort" attracting holidaymakers from all the world and its popularity has never ceased to grow.
