In winter skiers can enjoy unlimited snow fun on the Aloch or "Ski Stadium" slope, which is floodlit for night skiing. Dominated by the magnificent Cima Undici and Cima Dodici, where the Rio S. Nicolò merges with the river Avisio, it is a typical Dolomite location where mountaineering has a long tradition. From here you can reach the fascinating geological and mineralogical areas in the Monzoni Group, the classical origin of phenomena dating back tens of thousands of years.
Pozza is - due to its many routes and paths - the perfect place for walks both in summer and winter. The magnificent Aloch ski run on the outskirts of the village represents the pride of the village. Tita Piaz, one of the greatest mountaineers of all times, better known as the "Devil of the Dolomites" was born in Pera, a hamlet of Pozza.
