Sexten/Sesto - the village of the Three Peaks

Sesto, in South Tyrol´s most eastern valley, is characterised by the farms on the south slopes, the expanded larch-meadows, the shadowy pine forests and the Alpine roses on the slopes of the Nemes Alp.

The village is a paradise for people looking for relaxation, for those eager to spend an active holiday, and for those who love the mountains. Impressing Dolomite peaks, such as the Cima Nove, the Cima Dieci, the Cima Undici, the Cima Dodici and the Cima Uno, are within reach. They form a natural sundial, which is towered above by another peak, the Tre Scarperi. The "Fischlein Valley" leads from the village to the rocks and thus is the easiest entry to the Natural Park "Dolomites of Sesto", with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo at its centre.
