A journey back in time in search of the origins of the earth.

In no place but in this Dolomite valley the history of evolution presents itself in all its clearness: the red-gray signs on the Western slopes of the Seceda testify that more than 30 million years ago a whole continent disappeared in the sea and the white limestone rocks suggest that the coast wasn´t far away. Today the landscape with the impressive peaks of the Odle mountain range, the Sella massif and the Sassolungo mountain range is famous among keen mountaineers like Luis Trenker as well as among photographs and artists.
