The Alta Vaslugana stretches over the valley, between the eastern slopes of Marzola and the village Roncegno Terme, and Valle dei Mòcheni. The landscape is surrounded by the Caldonazzo and the Levico lakes, between which the Colle di Tenna is raised and the springs of Brenta rise. Pergine, the main village of Alta Valsugana, is especially remarkable among the villages of the valley which exposes the Pergine castle and its historic village center. From Pergine you can reach Valle dei Mòcheni, a linguistic island where the people still speak a language of German origin and the inhabitants maintain very old popular traditions. Another rustic and sylvan corner of Alta Valsugana is the Altopiano della Vigolana on the ridge separating Valle dell´Adige from Valsugana, at an altitude of about 700 meters, with a rolling profile, covered by geometric cultivated fields and sweet meadows up to the edge of the wood.
