Tiers/Tires

Tiers is situated on of altitude in the Tiers valley, about 25 kilometres from Bolzano.

The village is situated between the Sciliar and the Catinaccio, at the borders of the Sciliar Nature reserve, and therefore is an ideal starting point for various walks and hikes. In Tiers you will find quiet and peace to relax in the middle of a magnificent landscape.

Tiers has a long tradition in tourism:

More than 100 years ago, the first alpinists came to the Tiers valley in order to climb the majestic peaks of the Rosengarten and seeked for food and shelter in Tiers. Since then, tourism has constantly been developing in Tiers; nevertheless, the village
has managed to keep its original hospitality and its untouched nature as they were in these old times.
