it would have been very difficult to imagine that these few surviving walls, mixed with the retaining ones scattered in the countryside, belonged to a castle. This very old construction (probably an enclosure-shelter which could be used by the underlying village of Borgo di Mori), located along the river Adige towards the Lake Garda, belonged to the Montalbanos (12th century) and Castelbarcos and was then destroyed under the Venetians (15th century).
