  • Innsbruck and its Holiday Villages offer a huge 115 km network of mountain bike trails - guaranteeing superb mountain biking in the surroundings of Tirol's capital between 600 and 2250 meters above sea level.
  • A tour to Patscherkofel – Innsbruck most popular mountain or to one of the quaint alpine pasturelands like Höttinger Alm and Kemater Alm promises great outdoor fun and fine local specialties served on all huts.
  • In Innsbruck and its Holiday Villages you will also find Europe's steepest and most challenging mountain bike tracks: the Nordkette single trail is a real hot spot for experienced downhill bikers.
  • Skilled mountain bikers also head for the "Glungezer bike & hike & extreme" trail leading right across the fabulous stone pine forest, one of the biggest of its kind in the alpine area.

  • The panoramic Innsbruck via ferrata towers high above the Inntal valley and Tirol's capital of Innsbruck at the heart of the Nordkette mountain massif. Section I and II can be accessed from the Hafelekar top station (mountain gondola).
  • An almost vertical ascent plus loads of thrilling moments await expert climbers at the Kaiser-Max via ferrata on Zirl's steep Martinswand rock face.
  • Other scenic rock climbing areas are located in the immediate surroundings - like Höttinger Steinbruch.
  • In wet weather, the Kletterzentrum Tivoli indoor hall makes a perfect training spot for bouldering fans and climbers.
  • In the winter months, ice climbers get together in Lüsens at Easy Afternoon, the Hanging Gardens, Sautrog Icefall Eisfall or the Seigesbach Fall im Sellrain.

Summer days in Innsbruck and its Holiday Villages

Mountain bike aficionados will find challenging single trails on Nordkette mountain, water fans enjoy a refreshing jump into the Alpine swimming lakes of Lanser See and Natterer See, rock climbing enthusiasts can conquer nearby Martinswand wall offering fantastic views of the whole valley. An infinite number of event highlights is scheduled throughout the season. What's more, the summer on Seegrube high above the town offers yoga lessons or jazz brunch days at 1900 meters altitude. Shop until you drop is the slogan in the center of Innsbruck, followed by a nice cup of coffee under the arcades in the historical old town.
