At the top station you find a scenic forest playground for kids. The nearby Panorama Restaurant is made to measure for both parents and children as it features a large sunbathing terrace. Walking fans can choose from an infinite number of signposted hiking trails for all ages and abilities in the foothills of the majestic Kalkkögel mountain massif, there are also easy routes suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Expert alpinists head for Stubaital's countless peaks and summits. Mountain bike aficionados are spoilt for choice as well: Mutters has some of Tirol's finest MTB trails and a refreshing mountain lake - Natterer See – with a wonderful beach area.

Winter fun on Muttereralm

Endless winter pleasure is guaranteed in the lovely little ski area of Muttereralm – on immaculate ski slopes embedded in the deep green woodlands. Uninterrupted views of splendid Innsbruck accompany you all day long: a perfect place to relax, unwind and restore energies! The gently rolling Muttereralm area is also famous among ski mountaineers and ski touring fans who take advantage of a separate ascent route leading right across the snow-covered forest. Discover the silent side of winter on a fun-filled tobogganing adventure starting at the top station of Muttereralm.

Experience the Muttereralm The modern gondola gives fast and easy access to the new mountain restaurant with sundeck and large playground. Plenty of activities centering on the themes of water, wood, sand and stone are scheduled for this summer!
The "Innsbruck Almenweg" is a scenic hiking trail from the Muttereralm (1608m) to Raitiser Alm (1553 m) and Kreither Alm (1608m) all the way to Stubaital. Heading westwards the trail takes you to Götzner Alm (1542 m), Birgitzer Alm (1808 m) and Kemater Alm (1673 m).
Welcome to Mutters, the friendy holiday village! The in 2006 re-opened "New Mutterer Alm" ski area with its top-modern infrastructure is especially suitable for families and beginners. Since the slope down to Götzens is open (in the year 2008), there is now a challenging downhill run for advanced skier as well!

Free ski busses operate between Mutters and the Axamer Lizum ski area daily,
and to the Schlick 2000 and Stubai Glacier twice a week.

The region is also popular for ski mountaineers and there are 30 km of beautiful cross-country skiing tracks, some cleared footpaths for romantic winter walks (nightly lanterna walks), two natural toboggan tracks (moonlight sledding) and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
